Today we attended the first inaugural Young Reader’s Literary Morning which brought together 200 primary school students from all over Lagos. The event was hosted by Mango Books/Quramo Publishing Limited and the focus was to promote reading and writing among children.
At DRASA we know how closely tied education and health are, and we’re always looking for opportunities to spread our #ItStartsWithMe message to the youth, so we were very happy to sponsor this event. We provided gift bags for each of the 200 students which contained products donated by Unilever Nigeria in support of our #ItStartsWithMe campaign.
The event included book readings by celebrities such as Korede Bello and Chigul as well as an inter-school debate. Check out the video and pictures below to see what happened.
