As an NGO, we rely on contributions from individuals, companies, and funders to support our programs. But DRASA supporter Isaiah Osei-Baidoo decided he was going to contribute in a slightly different way.
saiah took it upon himself to raise money, and most importantly awareness, in support of DRASA’s work by running the 2018 Edinburgh Marathon in Scotland on Sunday the 27th of May! How cool is that?
It’s not easy to run 42.1km or 26.2 miles when you’re not a professional athlete, but we’re happy to report that his grueling 6 months of marathon training paid off. He successfully completed the marathon and we are so proud, we had to share!
In fact, he’s inspired us so much that we’re putting a team together to run in the Lagos Marathon in February 2019.
Wish us luck as we start training and drop us a line if you want to join our team or run for DRASA in another race: info@drasatrust.org.
