Thanks to the Nigerian chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI), we spent today at their ScopePedia workshop learning how to increase our project, program and portfolio management capabilities for improved delivery.
DRASA was lucky enough to be selected to participate in a one-day capacity building training for non-profit organizations.
PMI Consultant and DRASA’s Program Coordinator Lauretta Ovadje
During the workshop, we had a personal consultant (PMI Nigeria volunteer) who worked with us to better understand and identify solutions to some of our program challenges including increasing DRASA’s reach and improving awareness of hygiene amongst Nigerians.
We look forward to implementing some of the key take-aways from the workshop as we work towards improving our operational efficiency.
What is ScopePedia?
ScopePedia is an interactive workshop aimed at better preparing non-profit leaders and professionals to bridge the gap between strategy and delivery of business results. It helps non-profit board members and staff to get to the root of the organization’s problem, brainstorm and assess potential solutions, and develop a project objective and scope of work for any of their current initiatives.
