Strengthening Capacity of Food Safety Officers to Enhance Food Security and Surveillance Systems

  • Trained and equipped 126 Food Safety Officers across 11 Local Government Areas in Oyo State 
  • Overall 56% increase in knowledge of food safety monitoring and enforcement

Strengthening Community Participation in Infectious Disease Prevention

  • 2,089 community members trained on infectious disease prevention, detection, reporting, and response
  • Health Champions detected and reported 30 suspected cases of infectious diseases (m-pox, measles, chickenpox, cholera and acute flaccid paralysis) within 3 months

DRASA Radio Half Hour Show

  • 3 seasons of health education programming aired on 2 radio stations reaching 2 large metropolitan areas
